Founder & Executive Director
Tammie Polk
Tammie Polk, known as the Confidence Curator, is a passionate advocate for domestic violence victims, an ordained minister, and a Certified Life Purpose & Happiness Coach. She holds both a BSBA and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University.
Instead of allowing adversity to define her, Tammie has transformed her experiences into a driving force to educate, empower, and uplift women as they journey through the transition out of toxic and abusive relationships.

Sherray Parker
Sherray Parker is a dedicated professional with expertise in various financial and business services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
She offers year-round personal and business tax preparation services, ensuring clients meet their tax obligations efficiently. In addition to tax preparation, she provides tax resolution services, assisting individuals and businesses with resolving complex tax issues such as unpaid taxes, back taxes, and tax liens.

Bre'onna Green
Bre’onna Green is a dedicated healthcare professional with a Master of Nursing from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Tennessee State University.
She has achieved recognition on the Dean's List, maintained perfect attendance, and was an active member of both the National Honor Society of High School Scholars and the Golden Key International Honor Society.

Varshonda Simmons
Varshonda Simmons is the CEO/Founder of Essential Careers, LLC with a strong background in Human Resources and Financial Management.
Mrs. Simmons earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Jackson State University and master's degree in human resources training & development from Amberton University.
Beyond her professional achievements, she's passionate about giving back to the community and actively advocates for community service.

Vanessa Drake
Vanessa Drake is a passionate advocate for marginalized communities, including victims of human trafficking and women transitioning out of sex work. A U.S. Army veteran, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a Master's in Psychology at Harvard University, focusing on the unintended consequences of social policies and structural violence.
Vanessa’s international experience includes leading educational initiatives in Guatemala and Costa Rica, as well as organizing an International Women’s Conference that brought together participants from nine countries to address women’s empowerment, health, and leadership. Her work is dedicated to creating innovative, culturally responsive solutions that empower individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.

Cynthia Garland
Cynthia Garland leverages a strong background as a secondary capital markets analyst and business owner. Holding a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Purdue University, with a focus on statistical analysis, she brings valuable skills and strategic insight to the organization.

Driven by a passion for making a difference, Cynthia actively participates in volunteer and philanthropic efforts addressing vital social issues, such as human trafficking awareness, missionary and military support, and violence prevention. Her commitment to these causes enhances the mission of various nonprofits while reflecting her dedication to uplifting communities.

Amanda Campbell
Amanda L. Campbell has a profound love for God and her family, along with a strong passion for helping others discover and pursue their purpose. As a devoted wife and mother, they inspire her every day.
She holds friendship and sisterhood in high regard, and she strive to live her best life each day. Mrs. Campbell is an author, business owner, life coach, entrepreneur, and songwriter. She embraces who she is and cherishes her freedom.

Destiny Drake West
Destiny Drake West has over a decade of public policy and Executive Board experience,. She launched her federal policy career on Capitol Hill, establishing relationships and gaining insights into the legislative process. This foundation paved the way for senior roles at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she oversaw $1.1 billion in federal grants and provided nonpartisan counsel to Congress.
Recognized for her civic leadership and policy contributions, Destiny ultimately left her federal career to run for Congress, aiming to represent underrepresented voices, particularly women and families. Now, as the founder of the Drake Institute of Women’s Policy, she champions women’s leadership and economic security, building bipartisan coalitions and developing data-driven policies that advance equity and uplift underserved communities. Destiny remains dedicated to collaborating with leaders and organizations committed to a more equitable future.
